My dad opened accounts for all the kids at the Credit Union when we were young. I remember bringing in my birthday and Christmas money. I got my first car loan at the Credit Union with dad as a co-signer just before I went to college. I opened my checking account and got a VISA credit card at the Credit Union too. It made things really easy for my dad when I needed anything he just called and transferred money to my account.

I closed on my first house financed at the Credit Union paying for it with my job I got because of the education partly financed by dad’s savings and home equity loan.

The house I bought is in Farmington and the drive to the Credit Union is farther than the bank on the corner, but because of the service I received over the years I don’t see myself ever doing business anyplace else.
